To enable fated proximity alignments and double-blind matchmaking, we collect the following categories of data:
A. Geolocation Data (The Radial Proximity Radar)
- What we collect: Passively obtained GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude) of your mobile device.
- How we secure it: Your coordinates are never shared directly with other users. They undergo a jittering process of 15 to 50 meters to introduce safe noise. Nearby users are represented dynamically as orbital nodes rather than absolute addresses.
B. Account & Profile Information
- Email address: Used strictly for account security, OAuth validation, and admin role mapping.
- Display details: Display name (minimum 2 characters), Date of birth (to enforce 18+ limit), and optional bio information.
C. Communications & Interpersonal Data
- Double-Blind Tethers: Private selections are kept securely sandboxed and are never revealed until a mutual match occurs.
- In-App Chats: Private encrypted-in-transit messaging rooms.
- Crimson AI Guide: Interaction logs processed securely via transient proxy nodes powered by the Gemini API.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data purely to provide your proximity radar, compute bearings, match users who have mutually tethered, and power the interactive AI Relationship Guide.
3. Data Protection and Retention
- No Sale of Data: We never lease, trade, or sell your personal metadata or location parameters to third parties.
- Transient Coordinates: Historical location coordinate telemetry is updated on-the-fly and pruned programmatically.
4. Your Rights and Controls
You may restrict location tracking inside your Android system preferences or completely purge your registration, matchmaking history, and profile records at any time.
